Resource Library

A comprehensive choice of books, videos, journals and articles on Learning Disabilities and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder are available for loan or use at the Center. Staff and volunteers will assist in helping choose the most appropriate material.

Cost: A Provincial or Library membership of $20.00 per year is required for the borrowing of material.

Resource Facilitation

Resources are provided to individuals and families about issues relating to Learning Disabilities and Attention Deficit Disorder. This could include strategies for coping with behaviour problems, self esteem, stress management, social skills, and coping strategies by an accredited intake worker.

Volunteering

By volunteering with the Peterborough chapter of the Learning Disabilities Association we are able to offer a mutually beneficial experiences where individuals have the opportunity to learn more about the challenges of living with a learning disability, develop transferable workplace skills and open doors to new areas of personal development. With our volunteers assistance, we are able to continue to offer valuable programs to our clients.
