SOAR: Some Assembly Required

SOAR is a program for students in grades 7, 8 and 9, developed by the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario to encourage self-awareness, how to express ideas and follow directions, and becoming a self-advocate in the learning process and decision making.

SOAR provides each student with instruction and an opportunity for discussion with peers. Each student will receive the SOAR: Some Assembly Required workbook series to enhance and reinforce the learning opportunity. A maximum of 12 students will be instructed per program session.

1 hour sessions Mondays and Thursdays for 5 weeks
